Apps4Android, Inc. Forms Strategic Alliance with Onymous Heroes

Hilliard, OH January, 24, 2010 — IDEAL Group’s Apps4Android subsidiary announced today that it has come to agreement with Onymous Heroes, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia to use their proprietary Android browser code to enhance the functionality of iAugComm, an Apps4Android application. The specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed. iAugComm is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) application designed to enhance the communications abilities of people who are unable to speak. iAugComm provides a symbol-based method of communication that uses the Text-To-Speech (TTS) library for Android. Google Android is a free software platform and operating system for mobile devices.

According to Steve Jacobs, CEO, Apps4Android, "developing advanced Android browsers that incorporate speech recognition, text-to-speech, and have the ability to reformat complex web content into a format optimized for mobile devices is challenging and expensive. Rather than reinventing the wheel we felt it in our company's best business interests, and those of our valued customers, to use the best browser reformatting code and algorithms on the market. This is what led to our business agreement with Onymous Heroes."
